Tamera is a 19-year-old former foster youth who aged out of foster care in San Antonio. BCFS Health and Human Services-San Antonio helped her get into San Antonio College, get tuition assistance, register for classes and buy textbooks. They’re also teaching her financial responsibility and helping her get an apartment close to campus. Tamara says, “no matter how difficult the job, BCFS Health and Human Services has helped me get it done! I love you guys!”
