Our mission is to help at-risk young adults and foster youth transition into independent adulthood and self-sufficiency, and provide a safe place for youth to access community resources
Services offered to youth:
- Preparation for Adult Living (PAL): PAL provides transition services to foster youth and alumni from ages 15 1/2 to 21 in order to better prepare young adults for emancipation
- Education and Training Voucher (ETV) Scholarship Program: ETV provides funding that will help youth receive education, training and services not covered by another funding source
- Healing through Intervention and Prevention (HIP): The HIP program provides free, voluntary services to eligible families that build a positive, nurturing home environment and prevent child abuse.
- Texas Workforce Commission (TWC): Services for former or current foster youth ages 16-25 who are seeking employment or help accessing GED programs – A Workforce Advocate and Case Manager help the youth apply for jobs, polish resumes and obtain interview attire
